In 2016 I created this website to primarily host my wildlife trip reports.  My travels are generally focused on finding and photographing mammals and I have seen over 700 species to date. I am also keen on reptiles and birding. Uploading of past trip reports is underway.

Growing up in Zambia as the son of an avid birder gave me an early introduction to wildlife travel. That and my work as an exploration geologist in Africa and Asia have taken me to many interesting and remote areas around the world; having visited about 70 countries to date. I have lived and worked in South Africa, Ghana, Mali, Mongolia and the Outback in Australia. I now spend much of my time in Thailand and other parts of Southeast Asia when I am not travelling elsewhere.
